Live and Learn

Já "live and learn" er mitt mottó þessa dagana.  Í dag var að sjálfsögðu lært og lært.  Og dýpri skilningur á hlutum sem að ég vinn með frá degi til dags er gaman að sjá.  Þar sem að ég er lærður atvinnu flugmaður sé ég að flugmönnum er ekki sögð öll sólar sagan.  Enda myndu þeir ekki vilja vita hana þar sem að farið er í mikil smá atriði þarna.  Ég hreynlega nýt hverrar mínútu þar sem að ég fæ að greina vandamál og leisa þau á verkfræði grunni.  Skilningur minn hefur aukist og ég sé ekki eftir tækifærinu sem að ég hef fengið í hendurnar núna. Hótelið mitt er í miðbæ Seattle og þegar skólinn er búinn tekur oft við naflaskoðun á þessari annars yndislegu borg Seattle.  Þó að hún sé langt í burtu hefur hún uppá margt að bjóða. Umhverfið er stórkostlegt og fólkið ér yndislegt.  Hef viðmið þar sem að ég bjó í Forida um tíma ( Var í skóla þar) og hef komið til Minneapolis og Baltimore. Þetta er ekki yfir máta dýr borg og hefur mikin efrópskan brag.  Fór áðan og fékk mér svona ekta ameríska pulsu með öllu og það var gott.  Rústar íslensku pulsunni.  Sumir myndu segja að það væri landráð en ég held í mína skoðun og hananú.  Þessi pulsa var góð  hjá þessum pulsusala og ekki er allt íslenskt best í heimi þó að margt sé og hafið það.Á morgun ætlar Scott Brown að fara með mig og Lufthanza mennina Hans og Herbert kunningja mína hjá. Scott er talsmaður Icelandair hjá Boeing.  Hann á kvart(1/4) íslenska konu, afi hennar var íslenskur.   Síðustu menn sem að voru hérna frá Icelandair eru að reyna að hafa upp á Íslenskum ættingum konu hans.Er að spá í að fara á rugbý (Football) leik á mánudag.  Langar að hafa uppliftð það.  Er búinn að mana annan þjóðverjan hann Michael til að koma með mér á Seattle Sehawks og San francisco 49ers á mánudaginn. Sjáum hvort að ég fái miða.  Og já ég hef ekki séð hann Fraser Crane ennþá enn er að leita.

 

 

Yes live and learn is my motto these days. Today was of course a day of formulas and deeper understanding of the subject at hand i.e. performance engineering. As I am also hold a commercial pilot licence ATPL then I see that pilots are not told the total package regarding the nature of things mathematically as computers do the work nowadays. Boeing instructors are teaching me things I did not wonder I would ever learn.  And the thing is I love every minute  of it and I am solving mathematical problems  that have deepened my understanding of my work in general. I do not regret the opportunity that Icelandair has given me.  God bless Icelandair, and me ;).

 

My hotel is downtown Seattle.  When the seminar ends by midday I inspect in detail the exiting downtown life and what is has to offer. I have fallen in love with Seattle and the people in general. I have reference as I lived in Vero Beach Florida, and I have been around USA mainly east coast.

 

To morrow is Scott Brown ( Icelandair customer service agent at Boeing) going to take me and my Lufthansa collages for a good juicy Seattle beef stake in a restaurant of his choice( as the locals know best). I love a good stake and read wine.  Scott is a nice person to talk to and interact with. His wife had and Icelandic grandfather. Understandingly Scott and his wife are curious about her Icelandic background.  One of my collages at work meet Scott not long ago in Seattle and is trying to track down her Icelandic relatives.  It is a pleasant thought if that will be successful.

 

I am thinking of going to a American football game on Monday.  I have no understanding of the game by I want to know more about the game and I feel it will be a pleasant experience to see the game of Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco.  I have planted this itea in one of my german collages from Lufthansa i.e Michael. Lets see if we will be lucky and get a ticket.

 

O yes I have not seen Fraser Crane  but I am still looking.

er hrædd um að Kiddi minn sé ekki sammála þér varðandi pylsurnar , ég er það reindar ekki heldur smakkaði þegar ég var í Florida, betri hér á klakanum .. er líka engin pylsu aðdáandi
